William Wies, age 82, of Twin Valley, Minnesota died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 in the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley.
Wiliam N. Wies was born December 25, 1928, the son of William Curry and Sophie Tingum in Ellendale, North Dakota. He grew up near there and attended school through the eighth grade. As a young adult, William drove horses for area farmers. He was also employed at different businesses doing custodial work as well as being a kitchen assistant. He later moved to the Fargo, North Dakota area where he resided until moving to the Twin Valley Living Center in 2006. William continued to make his home there until the time of his death.
William spent many hours playing cards with his friends and loved a good bingo game. In his quiet time, he also really enjoyed listening to music.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, February 22nd at 1:30 PM in the Twin Valley Living Center Chapel, Twin Valley. Visitation was one hour before services at the Twin Valley Living Center on Tuesday. Officiating was Karin Moberg, Red River Valley Hospice Chaplain. Serving as organist was Renae Hoekstra with special music provided by Karen Bergstrom and Julie Thornton.
Burial was in the Twin Valley City Cemtery.
