William "Billy" Roger Lee, JR, 55, of Fertile, MN, died on Monday, March 28, 2016, at his residence. Billy was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Bill and Jennie (Lind) Lee. He moved with his parents to Fertile, MN, in the mid 1970's, graduating from the Fertile-Beltrami High School in 1978. Billy attended Omaha Bible School in Omaha, NE, before moving to Minneapolis.
While living in the Twin Cities, Billy was a manager at Kmart in South Minneapolis. He moved on to be a district manager for several Casey's Convenient Stores. He moved to St. Cloud, MN where he worked for Speedy Delivery, prior to returning to Fertile in the early 2000's. Billy worked for the Shooting Star Casino at Mahnomen, until his health failed.
Family, friends, and faith sum up Billy's life. He kept in touch with his sisters and their families, as well as caring for his parents. Billy was loyal to his friends and would do what he could for them. And, his faith encompassed all of what Billy thought and did. Most of Billy's free time was used to read and study scripture. Social issues and theological concerns were thoroughly researched from a Biblical perspective and shared with all who would listen. May God bless Billy's memory.
