Wayne T. Walden, 68, of Borup, MN, died on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley, MN.

Wayne Thomas Walden was born November 12, 1944, at Halstad, Minnesota, the son of Leslie and Marjorie (Ambuehl) Walden. He attended school in Borup until the 5th grade when he moved with his family to Lake Orion, Michigan. He graduated from Lake Orion High School. He had lived in Michigan and Arizona, before returning to Borup a few years ago. Wayne was a mechanic in addition to driving and inspecting trucks. He enjoyed camping, hiking, water skiing, and for years, he built and flew model airplanes.

Wayne is survived by brothers, Loren (Sandra), of Borup, and Steve (Charlotte) Ft. McCoy, FL, sisters, Karen (Robin) Edwards, Sherman Oaks, CA, and Connie Walden, Lake Orion, MI, a special cousin, Arlis Stevenson, Georgetown, MN, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, a sister, Madeliene, and brother, Douglas.

Memorial Service: 11:00AM Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Winchester Lutheran Church, Borup, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
