Wayne A. Bartz, 63, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 09, 2023 at his residence in Fargo.
Wayne Allen Bartz was born on December 20, 1959 in St. Paul, MN to Wallace and Hilda (Stene) Bartz. He attended school in Ada, MN and graduated from Ada High School in 1978. Wayne then went on to attend UND in Grand Forks, ND and Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN. He ultimately graduated from North Dakota State University in 2010 with a degree in Psychology and University Studies.
Wayne worked as a counselor for most of his life because helping others was one of his true passions. A few places where he touched many lives were Fergus Falls State Hospital, Miller Dwan Treatment Center in Duluth, MN, Port Rehab in Duluth, MN, Southeast Human Service Center in Fargo, ND, Myrt Armstrong Recovery Center in Fargo, ND, and Morningside in Port Angeles, WA. He was currently still working and part owner of N.I.A.M. Brain Injury Services in Fargo, ND, still helping people until the very end.
Wayne enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool, cribbage, food, watching football, and listening to country music. But most of all, Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved all his children equally, but the love of his life was definitely his daughter, Abby.
Wayne's love for his family and his passion for helping others is what he will be remembered for. He worked so hard to provide for his family and wanted nothing more than to make sure his children were happy, loved and provided for.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Abigail (Jeremy) Hulse, Port Angeles, WA; sons, Micah Dallman, Port Angeles, WA, and Andrew (Leigh Ann) Dallman, Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Elise and Alaina Baublitz, Mason Hulse, and Hattie Dallman; brother-in-law, Greg Billberg; niece, Elizabeth (Kevin) Boike; nephew, Aaron (Megan) Billberg; and many cousins; aunts; uncles; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Hilda; and sister, Sherry Billberg
The family would like to thank Boulger Funeral Home for providing cremation services.
