Warren Allen Willms, 75, of Gully, Minnesota died on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Villa St Vincent Care Center, Crookston, Minnesota.

He was born on October 6, 1936, to Jacob and Clara Willms in St. Paul, Minnesota. Warren grew up in the cities and spent many summers with his grandparents in Ulen, MN. Following his schooling, Warren entered the United States Air Force May 11, 1954 and was honorably discharged on July 25, 1956.

Warren began working for Boeing in Seattle, Washington, moving back to Hastings, Minnesota in the 1980's. In July of 1998, he and Rose Ranz moved to Gully, Minnesota, where they have lived since.

In early May, 2012, Warren entered the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston. Reading books and fishing kept Warren busy and Rosie's family shared their love with him.

Warren is survived by his beloved, Rosie Ranz, Fertile, MN; her children: Joyce Rhode, Owatona, MN, Bucky and Joyce Wright, Fertile, Linda and Rick Sanders, Gasburg, VA, Susan and Vance Balstad, Bemidji, MN, Bob and Kathy Wright, Goodhue, MN, Pearl and Paul Freude, Bemidji, MN, and Butch Wright, Nerstand, MN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be on Friday May, 11, 2012, at 11 am in the Erikson-Vik Funeral Home Fertile, MN.

Visitation will be one hour before the services.

Burial will be in the Bethlehem West Cemetery, Ulen, MN.
