Victor Becker was born September 30, 1924 the son of Franz and Hedwig (Rudnick) Becker east of Mahnomen, MN. He attended country school at the old Jaeger School.
As a young man he worked with his father and also area for neighbors. Vic entered the United States Army in 1945 and was trained as a paratrooper. After his training in the United States he was sent to the Philippines where he served until his discharge. After being discharged he returned to the Mahnomen community and farmed with his family.
