Veronica Brommenschenkel, Ada, Minnesota passed away at the age of 94, Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Veronica was born on February 9, 1922 to John P. and Margaret (Beitz) Kneip in Cummings, North Dakota. Veronica was united in marriage to Francis Brommenschenkel on December 9, 1942 at St Joseph Catholic Church, Ada. They were married 61 years until his death in 2003.

Veronica and Francis made their home in Ada. Veronica spent her life caring for her children, grand and great grandchildren. Family was her life. Later on when all the children were married, Veronica started working at the Ada Hospital caring for other people. A few of Veronica's past times were cooking, baking (people delighted in her caramel rolls) gardening, sewing quilting, volunteer work, leading the rosary at church and nursing home, and needle point.

Veronica is survived by her children : Cornelius "Corky" (Michele), Ada, Francis Jr. (Joan), Ventura, CA, Daniel (Diane), Hendrum, MN; Mary (Richard) Johnson, Lake Havasu City, AZ, Pat Bergin, Forest Lake, MN; Nancy (Gerry) Anderson, Ham Lake, MN, and Shirley (John) Baker, Ada; her cherished 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, also surviving sisters, Rosenia Lindback, Apple Valley, MN, Mary Braunschweig, Auburn, WA, and brother, Joe Kneip, Twin Valley, MN, and many nieces and nephews. She left this world to join her husband, Francis, two daughters, Peggy and Julie, her parents, two brothers: John and Leonard, and six sisters: Margaret, Agnes, Illene, Cecilia, Gertrude, and Monica.

Funeral Mass: 10:30AM, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: 5-7PM Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Interment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
