Vernon Allrich, age 78, of Twin Valley, Minnesota, died Saturday, February 13, 2010, in the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley.

Vernon C. Allrich was born December 28, 1931, the son of Clarence and Alvina (Hagenah) Allrich near Gary, Minnesota, where he grew up and attended country school. As a young man Vernon farmed with his father which he continued to do most of his life. Vernon also was employed at the American Crystal Sugar plant in Crookston for several campaigns as well as working at the Waukon beet piler. A few years after his mother died, Vernon moved into town and for the past two years he had made his home in the Lincoln Terrace Apartments. He resided at the Twin Valley Living Center for a short time until the time of his death.

Vernon is survived by three brothers, Curtis (Julie) Allrich of Riverton, WY, Lyle Allrich of Fertile, MN and Lloyd (Donna) Allrich of Elk River, MN and a sister, Lucille (Montie) Aurzada of Brooklyn Park, MN and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service was held on Friday, June 4th, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel, Twin Valley. Marilou Bade, Chaplain, will officiate.

Inurnment was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Twin Valley.
