Troy Edmund Yarbrough, age 41, went home to be with his Lord on May 19, 2018.

Troy was born on June 27, 1976 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and adopted at birth by Ed and Jan (Burnside) Yarbrough. Troy was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Hitterdal. He attended school at Ulen–Hitterdal School and graduated from there with the Class of 1994. Troy went on to work various jobs in the Fargo-Moorhead, as well as the Wahpeton-Breckenridge area, until health issues limited his ability to do so.

Troy enjoyed growing up on the family farm near Hitterdal, and the peace that came with country living. He loved to roller skate when he was younger and was very good at it. One of Troy's recent hobbies included coin collecting. He also liked spending time at the library near his residence. He enjoyed family gatherings and genuinely appreciated visiting with friends and acquaintances that he had met through the years. Troy will be remembered for his friendly personality and will be greatly missed by his family and all who loved him.

Troy is survived by his mother, Jan Yarbrough, of Twin Valley, MN; his brother, Travis (LaShawn) Yarbrough, of Minneapolis, MN; one niece; and two nephews.

Troy is preceded in death by his father, Ed Yarbrough.

A memorial service will be held at Salem Lutheran Church in Hitterdal, MN on July 21st with visitation at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am.
