Timothy Ole Fugleberg, age 66, of Ada, MN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Benedictine Living Center in Ada.

Born on November 25, 1958, in Gary, MN, to Arthur and Gloria (Bak) Fugleberg, Tim faced the challenges of epilepsy from an early age. Despite these hardships, he approached life with resilience and a spirit that touched many. He attended school in Gary and Ada, making Ada his home for most of his life. Over the years, he built lasting friendships in the community, especially during his time at Valley View Manor and later at Benedictine Living Center, where he was known for his kind heart and engaging conversations.

Tim was a man of simple joys and deep passions. He had a natural gift for storytelling and could turn any moment into a lively conversation. His love of music was evident in his extensive CD collection, with favorites spanning multiple genres—though the Bee Gees and Kris Kristofferson held a special place in his heart. Tim was a man of faith and attended services at Grace Lutheran Church in Ada for many years. Above all, Tim was an exceptionally talented writer and poet. He took great pride in seeing his work published and found immense joy in sharing his poetry with friends and family. His notebooks were filled with his words, a testament to his creativity and introspective nature.

Tim's kindness, laughter, and friendship will be dearly missed, but his words and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Tim is survived by his brothers: Tom of West Fargo, ND, Doug of Ada, Steve (Cheryl) of Perham, MN, and John of Moorhead, MN; cousin and close friend, Dave Mahle; and many nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vicky; and sister-in-law, Ruthann Hoffman-Fugleberg.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 am, with a visitation starting one hour before, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ada. Burial will be held at Sundal Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fertile, MN, in the spring.
