Thomas "Tom" Stock, age 63, of Mahnomen, MN, died on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Mahnomen Health Center.

Thomas "Tom" Stock, age 63, of Mahnomen, MN, died on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Mahnomen Health Center.

Thomas James Stock, the son of James and Joyce (Reierson) Stock, was born on September 27, 1961, in Mahnomen. He grew up in Mahnomen, where he attended St. Michael's Elementary School and Mahnomen High School. Tom was united in marriage to Rebecca Erger, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Randi and Holly. Following their divorce, Tom continued to make his home in Mahnomen, and on December 16, 1991, he married the love of his life, Connie Jaeger. Through this union, he welcomed Justin into his life, and together they raised their family.

Tom farmed with his father for several years before venturing into custom combining, a career that spanned over two decades. In his semi-retirement, Tom found joy in running T&C Pontoon Rentals, which allowed him to combine his love for the outdoors with his entrepreneurial spirit. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Tom especially loved hiking, hunting with his family, and spending time near the water. Tom and Connie greatly enjoyed traveling, with two of their favorite destinations being Mexico and Arizona.

Tom's greatest pride was his family. Watching his grandchildren play sports and cheering them on brought him immeasurable joy. As a father and grandfather, he was fiercely proud and deeply devoted. His no-nonsense personality, quick humor, and unapologetic straightforwardness made him a standout presence in every room. His sudden death leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Tom is survived by his wife, Connie, of Mahnomen; his children: Randi (Dan) Streff and Holly (Jonathan) Magnell, all of Harwood, ND, and Justin of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren: Ella, Will, and Nick Streff, and Aaron and Owen Magnell; and his parents, James and Joyce of Moorhead.

He was preceded in death by two of his brothers, Paul and Jerry Stock.
