Terry Lynn Hukriede, 49, Hendrum, MN, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Terry was born on March 13, 1968, to Larry and Cheryl (Kroshus) Hukriede, in Ada, MN. He grew up in Halstad where he attended school, and spent most of his life in the area. Terry married Rebecca Villarreal on August 7, 1992 and they had seven wonderful children together. Terry and Becky moved to Hendrum in 2006.

Terry enjoyed working on engines, fishing, snowmobiling, reading old westerns, eating a good grilled hotdog and drinking a cold glass of milk. He loved to spend time with his family, especially if that meant taking them out on some of his hand built recreational vehicles, or his "toys" as he would call them. He was a very free-spirited man, and did what his heart or a good song would tell him to do. He could be seen cruising around Hendrum on his motorcycle either for fun or chasing his dog. It was in those memories he was truly happy, especially if his kids stopped by to join in the fun. There is no way to describe such a loving, carefree, and absolutely true "Bad to The Bone" man but to say he stayed true to who he was through his whole life.

Terry leaves behind his wife Rebecca, of Hendrum; his children: Brandon Villarreal (Emmylee Villarreal) of Fargo, Lita (Kyle) Grosz of Fargo, Terry Hukriede Jr. (Sage) of Fargo, Isabella Hukriede of Moorhead, Kayla Hukriede (Shawn Teal) of Fargo, Alexis Hukriede of Hendrum, Cheryl Hukriede of Hendrum, three grandchildren: Mason Lee Villarreal, Aaliyah Nicole Hukriede and Ashton Michael Teal, and brothers; Randy of Indiana, and Scott (Babs) of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Cheryl "Tippy" Hukriede.

Funeral: 2:00PM, Friday, April 21, 2017, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Halstad, MN.

Visitation: Friday from12:00Noon to 2:00PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Halstad North Cemetery, Halstad, MN.
