Terrill Lee Flikke, 76, passed unexpectedly at his home in rural Ada, MN on Monday April 4, 2022. He was the first of three children born to Quentin and Ilah Belle (Wright) Flikke. Terrill was born on May 6, 1945, in Ada. He was the big brother to Wayne and Arlana who joined the family later. They lived in Shelly, MN until 1949 when they moved to the farm in Fertile, MN.

He was baptized in the Lutheran faith on July 8, 1945, in Halstad, MN.

He graduated from high school in 1963, and after school he joined the National Guard.

While working in Brainerd, MN, he met and married Carilee (Chee-Chee) Liebeg on June 17, 1968. He became a stepfather to her son, Steven and together they had two more children, Jennifer and Susan.

They moved often for work. They lived in Minot, ND as well as Fargo, ND. In 1973 they moved their family to Tucson, AZ for several years. While in Arizona he was a sprinkler fitter and worked in the mines. They moved back to Fertile in 1980.

Terrill was a long-time sprinkler fitter. He worked as a fire prevention journeyman for 39 years until he retired. After he retired, he needed to stay busy and was a driver for JR Dale Trucks and Sales.

Terrill enjoyed the outdoors. He liked fishing and hunting. He had a lifetime membership of National Parks, and he enjoyed the beauty of nature.

Terrill enjoyed learning new things. He took pilot lessons, enjoyed having projects to do and spending time working on them in his shop, rebuilding tractors and engines, and he was even working on building a plane.

Later in life he met his special friend Ida Fettig. They were together for 23 years. They spent a lot of time at the casino.
