Tamara "Tammy" Green, 49, Halstad, MN, beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, near Georgetown, MN.

She entered this world on November 2, 1971 in Robbinsdale, MN to Clayton and JoAnn (Sharbono) Johnson.

After graduating Climax-Shelly Public School in 1990, she had her first son Kyle Wassel in Grand Forks, ND in 1992. In February of 1996, she met Eric Green and they married in 1997. In the fall of 1997, they moved their little family to Montana. Tammy loved the mountains, and had family from Minnesota come visit once a year during their stay to enjoy the view with her. While there, they finished building their family by having their twins, Brandon and Brianna in 2001. They moved back to Minnesota in 2007, and have resided in Halstad, MN ever since.

Tammy was a devoted mother and wife to her family. She enjoyed camping, family game nights, family roads trips to anywhere new, beaches, and trips to Arizona. She also enjoyed being at home with her family, relaxing with her husband or binge watching tv shows with her kids.

She is survived by her parents, Clayton and JoAnn Johnson, Nielsville, MN; husband,  Eric Green, Halstad, MN; sons, Kyle Wassel, Fargo, ND, and Brandon Green, Fargo, ND; daughter, Brianna Green, Halstad, MN; older sister, Sheila (David) Kimble, Nielsville, MN; niece, Kari (Travis) Thom, Fosston, MN; nephews, Kevin Kimble, Fisher, MN, and Evan Johnson of TX ; younger brother, Travis Johnson, Nielsville, MN; mother-in-law, Katherine Mummert, Ravenswood, WV; and father-in-law, Alton Green, Aylett, VA.

Tammy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Hilda Johnson, and Raymond and Adeline Sharbono.

Funeral : 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home in Halstad, MN, with a maximum capacity of 50 people, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All must wear a mask to attend.

Visitation : One hour before the funeral at the funeral home in Halstad.
