Tammie Martinez, age 63, of Mahnomen, MN, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Tammie Davis was born on June 19, 1962, in Tulsa, OK, to Merlin and June Davis. She attended school in her younger years before stepping away to help care for her father. Throughout her life, Tammie held a variety of jobs, including work as a coppersmith, housekeeper, and tree cutter. For more than 20 years, she called northern Minnesota home, building a life in Mahnomen and forming many meaningful friendships along the way.

Tammie was deeply loved by those who knew her, known for her heart of gold and easygoing spirit. She enjoyed spending time with friends, often gathering over a cold beverage at local bars where laughter and stories were always in good supply. She had a love for the outdoors, especially visits to state parks, and cherished time spent with the Bakken family, celebrating holidays together and enjoying summer days filled with music and friendship at the farm. Her vibrant personality and warm presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Tammie is survived by her special friend, Tony Cady, along with the many dear friends she made throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters.
