Heartfelt joy turned to sorrow for Jessica and Zachery Lamblez, with the birth and death of their infant daughter, Tala Rose. Tala was born and died on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital, Detroit Lakes, MN. In the single hour they were blessed with, Jess and Zach got to hear her cry, look into her big, blue eyes, and hold her in their arms – those memories will forever last a lifetime in their hearts. Tala was baptized in the Christian faith at St. Mary's shortly after her birth. Although she was only here for a short time, little Tala was loved very much.

Tala is survived by her parents, Zach and Jessica (Haakenson) Lamblez of Mahnomen, MN; two sisters, Breanna Kaul of West Fargo and Nova Lamblez of Mahnomen; her grandparents: Terry Pulver of Mountain, ND, Eugene Haakenson of Audubon, MN, Brent (Jill) Lamblez of Dent, MN, Lillian Greene of Dilworth, and Feroll (Kevin) Hamernik of Audubon; her great grandparents Donald and Inez Doehlor of Perth, ND; and her aunts and uncles: Melissa (Dan) Phillips of Argusville, ND; Jordan Haakenson of Audubon, Brandell Haakenson of Audubon, Xavier (Jenny) Lamblez of Dilworth, MN, and Vanessa Lamblez of Detroit Lakes.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Green, Lawrence and Eleanor Lamblez, Arnie and Mabel Haakenson.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 15, 2008 at First Lutheran Church in Mahnomen. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Detroit Lakes. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson ~ Mattson Funeral Home, Mahnomen, MN.
