Stephanie Bunker, age 39, of Naytahwaush, MN, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Stephanie Rose Bunker, the daughter of Richard and Carol (Stevens) Bunker, was born in Bagley, MN, on April 24, 1978. Steph was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Glenn and Phyllis Bunker, until she was 10 years old. She then moved with her family to California, shortly thereafter returning to the Roy Lake and Naytahwaush Communities where she spent most of her time. Over the years, Steph worked various jobs but the majority of her employment was by the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen as a Blackjack dealer. By far Stephanie's favorite "job" was caring for her four children: Robert Jr., LeRoy "Chris", Daniel, and Chance. Steph had a bit of a gypsy spirit and loved to travel. She went all of the United States and was most recently in Arizona. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help others. She cherished her family and did whatever she could to be near them, especially her sons. Her bubbly personality and gentle smile will be remembered always.
Stephanie is survived by her sons: Robert Keezer Jr., LeRoy Chris Fairbanks, Daniel Keezer, and Chance Keezer, all of Mahnomen; her mom, Carol Bunker; three sisters: Katie Bunker of Minneapolis, MN, Theresa Bunker and Connie Bunker, both of Mahnomen; four brothers: Charles Bunker, Buddy (Bea) Bunker, Jeremy Londo, and Jesse Londo, all of Mahnomen; her grandmother, Phyllis Bunker; her grandpa, James Bush; aunts and uncles: Theresa (Jim) Loud, Rosie Alvarado, Millie Bunker, Marcie (Lee) Fairbanks, Roger (Cindy) Stevens, Armando (Shirley) Aguilar; and Dennis Stevens; her special friend, Roy; and many cousins, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Richard "Dicky" Bunker; one brother, Daniel; grandma, Ida Girard; grandpa, Glenn "Bud" Bunker; uncle, Kelly, aunt Kathy; and aunt Molly Bunker-Hintz, who passed away shortly following Stephanie's death; as well as many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Samuel Memorial Episcopal Church in Naytahwaush. Visitation will take place from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the church. Burial will be in Samuel Memorial Episcopal Cemetery.
