Stanley A. Habedank, 91, Twin Valley, MN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, under the care of his family.

The earthly journey of Stanley Arnold Habedank, which began in Crookston, Minnesota on April 29, 1929 came to a peaceful end on November 10, 2020, at Faith, Minnesota after 91 years.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ramona (Schurdevin); his daughters, Connie Renshaw and Dixie Fjeld; sons, Steve and Vernon Habedank. Stanley is now continuing the journey with two of his children, Marilyn Elaine Habedank and Peggy Habedank Holte, who have preceded him. Additional surviving family members include a sister, Darlene Kelm; five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Stanley's main profession was general contracting for most of his adult life, owning and operating S. A. Habedank Construction; he also concurrently farmed and was a cattle rancher of Registered Black Angus.

Extracurricular activities that Stanley enjoyed include membership in the American Angus Association, a Sunday School Teacher, adult supervisor of Cub Scout and Boy Scout activities, and he was so proud that his great grandchildren are Scouts and carrying on his legacy.

He was District Governor of 5M-11 and dedicated years to the Lions and Lioness Clubs. He served on the Twin Valley High School Board as a member and Chairman. He was also active in the community with church and other organizations. Stanley was Santa Claus for 25+ years for the Twin Valley youth and elderly.

One of his greatest joys was helping others and improving their lives. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and was a very proficient hunter and marksman.

He will be deeply missed by his family, but we celebrate a life well-lived and one that impacted many others. He was looking forward to continuing his journey to his heavenly home.

A private family graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All are encouraged to wear a mask.
