Stacey Wadena, age 54, of Ada, MN, died on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at her home.

Stacey Ann Wadena was born September 3, 1971, the daughter of Selim Keezer and Lois (Wadena) Brown.  She grew up in Naytahwaush, MN, where she attended elementary school.  After graduating from Mahnomen High School, Stacey was blessed with twin girls, Bethany and Brittany.  She would add a son, Codey and complete her family with another daughter, Julie.  Over the years, she lived not only in Naytahwaush but also Fosston, MN, Bemidji, MN, Crookston, MN, and has spent the past several years living with her significant other, Andy, in Ada.

If you knew Stacey, you knew she had a big personality.  She was somewhat of joker and prankster, was outspoken but could also be a bit stubborn and would find ways to get her point across for sure.  She loved her dogs and spending time with family, especially all her grandchildren.  In her spare time, Stacey enjoyed coloring, dancing, cross stich, and playing cribbage.  She also cherished car rides with her kids, listening to 90's country, old rock or Christian tunes.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Stacey is survived by her children: Bethany (Steven) LaFriniere of Mahnomen, Brittany Wadena of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Codey Lang of Twin Valley, MN, and Julie Wadena of Ogema, MN; 15 grandchildren: Natalia, Hayden, Gavin, Maddox, Emmitt, Ariette, Caidyn, Kingston, Cylis, Codey Jr., David, Justice, Isaac, Sebastian, and Adeline; her significant other, Andy Simon of Ada; step-dad, Francis Brown Jr. of Naytahwaush; five brothers: Sonny (Desi) Wadena of Naytahwaush, Aaron (Sara) Keezer of White Earth, Dylan (Shania) Smith also of White Earth, Reginald (Shalene) Brown of Naytahwaush, and Anthony (Applonia) Fairbanks also of Naytahwaush; six sisters: Lolly (Mike) Johnson of Naytahwaush, April (Joe) Thompson of Naytahwaush, Fran (Sam) Brown of Naytahwaush, Jen Bode of St. Paul, MN, Deanna Keezer of White Earth and Melissa "Mitz" Ironshield; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins including special bonus mom, Mavis Bush, bonus sister, Jana Rock, aunts, Kathy Wadena, KK Sargent, Paula Smith, and Pauline "Tyne" Keezer. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Salem "Manny" Wadena and Francis Brown III; sister, Anna Levy; grandmas, Avonelle Sargent and Lorraine Keezer; aunt, Bernice "Bun" Bellanger; and several extended family members.

A Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Wings as Eagles Fellowship Church of Naytahwaush, in Naytahwaush, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Brown Family Cemetery, rural Naytahwaush.
