SIVERT R. "Si" DOMBU, 79, a resident of Las Vegas since 1973, departed this earth unexpectedly on April 29 ^th , 2018. Born in Rjukan, Norway, Mr. Dombu was a graduate of Tulane University and the University of Minnesota with degrees in Chemistry and Physics. He owned and operated City Quick Print in Las Vegas for 19 years. He was an Emerald Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League and pursued this hobby with passion, he was also a lover of books and an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Adis, his sister MariAnne Gross (Maynard), and step sisters Grace Nichols (Darrol) and Charlotte Paskey, niece Annelisa Neely (Jason), nephew Erik Gross (Debbie), grand-nephew Roy Gross and grand-niece Carina Gross, and many more nieces, nephews & cousins of his beloved extended Slette, Dombu & Fredriksen family clans.  He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Dombu, and his mother Gunvor Slette, and his step father Oscar Slette.

Services will be conducted at 10:00 am, June 30 ^th , 2018 at First Lutheran Church in Mahnomen, Minnesota, with a reception to follow. Interment will be at St. Olaf Cemetery, rural Twin Valley, Minnesota.
