Shawn P. Warren, age 26, of Naytahwaush, MN, died on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at his home.

Shawn Paul Warren was born August 26, 1997, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the son of Andrea Bellanger and Wayne Warren.  He was raised in the Naytahwaush area and attended school in Waubun, MN.  Following his schooling, Shawn entered the workforce as a concrete worker.  He later moved into putting up dry wall and was most recently employed by Merton's Construction where they put up pole barns.  In addition, Shawn also worked day labor for the Shooting Star Casino.

During his spare time, Shawn enjoyed tinkering on cars and was a good self-taught mechanic.  He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Shawn loved spending time with family, especially his siblings, and was very protective of all of them.  He also enjoyed time spent outdoors hunting and fishing in addition to playing his X-Box for hours on end.  Although he's gone from this life so soon, he will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Shawn is survived by his mom, Andrea (Ramsey Gibbs) Bellanger; grandpas, Dean Bellanger and Ronald "Ham Bone" Warren; sister, Alyssa Bellanger; brothers: Joshua Bellanger, Damian Gibbs, Marcus Gibbs and Richard Warren; bonus siblings: Kaylea "KK" Smith, Candace "Poops" Smith, Mariah (Mong) Yang, Chandler Smith, Tyson Keezer and Jake Folstrom; special aunt, Rose (David Magee) Bellanger; aunts,  Holly (Dennis) Watters and Claudette ("Stink") Bevins; uncles: Dean (Desiree Gourneau) Bellanger, Paul Warren and Ronald (Elizabeth) Warren; great aunts: Paula (Mark) Smith, Pauline (Scott Roy) Keezer, Rose (Doug) Fairbanks and Wanda Bevins; great uncle, Melvin "Bo" Keezer; niece and nephew, Kaydence and Konner Bellanger and several cousins, including a special cousin, TJ Jackson.  He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne; grandmas, Bernice "Bun" Bellanger and Patricia Warren; cousins, Kayla Magee and Brandon "Bundy" Kier in addition to many other extended family

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 1 pm at the White Earth Community Center.  Visitation will begin Wednesday, July 10th at 5 pm with services at 7 pm at the White Earth Community Center and go until the time of the funeral on Thursday.
