Sharon Kaye Oppegard, lovingly known as Angel, was born on July 5, 1950, to Fred and Stella (Clark) Oppegard in Mahnomen. She grew up in Mahnomen and graduated from Mahnomen High School in 1968. Angel was united in marriage to Wally Eid and they were blessed with two children, Chuck and Tammera Jo. The family also raised Brandon Rogers, as a son of their own, since infancy. For several years they owned and operated Eid's 59 Mobile Service and Angel's Ladies Apparel. Angel served as an EMT and was active with the White Earth Tribal Council while living in Mahnomen. In 1990, she moved to Fargo, ND, where she worked various jobs, but spent most of her career with US Bank. Following over 20 years of companionship, Angel married Scott Brekke on August 24, 2012. Together they made their home in Fargo.

Angel was very artistic and had many hobbies. She created beautiful paintings and drawings to share with her family. She loved to read and crochet as well. In her younger years, she had large gardens and canned her produce. Angel had a soft spot in her heart for animals and cherished her pets.

Angel is survived by her husband, Scott of Fargo; one daughter, Tammera Jo Eid (Mike Johnson) of West Fargo, ND; two sons, Charles "Chuck" (Amanda) Eid of Moorhead, MN, and Brandon Rogers of Minneapolis, MN; one granddaughter, Kalysta Eid of West Fargo; and one sister, Gayle Rogers of Naytahwaush, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Skip; and a brother-in-law, Scott.
