Saundra Janean Christensen, 72, of Fertile, MN, formerly of Kansas, died on Friday, March 30, 2012, at the Fair Meadow Nursing Home, Fertile, MN. She was born in Joplin, MO, to Everett and Dorothy (McIntosh) Brock on January 25, 1940. Saundra attended and graduated from Plainview High School, Wichita, KS, in 1958.
Saundra was united in marriage to Gary Christensen in Wichita, KS. They lived in Dallas, TX and Garland TX, before moving back to Kansas in the early 1990's. In the early 2000's, Saundra moved to Fertile, MN. Saundra had a deep love for family and friends. She attended Hope Evangelical Free Church, Fertile. Baking, sewing, working puzzles and collecting cabbage patch doll's and angels filled her time.
Saundra is survived two brothers: Larry (Dolores) and Jimmy (Becky) both of Wichita, KS; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special friends in the community are members of Hope Evangelical Free and Norma and Nikki Rodvik, Fertile.
