Sally Kupferschmidt, age 74, of Mahnomen, MN, died on Friday, December 24, 2021, at her home.

Sally Jean Kupferschmidt was born March 23, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Henry and Marilyn (Dale) Kupferschmidt.  Her youth was spent growing up in the St. Paul area where she attended school.  As a teenager, Sally had an accident that left her requiring extra care.  Therefore, she lived in various homes in St. Paul, Hastings, MN, Walker, MN, and has made her home at MSOCS in Mahnomen since 2005.

Sally was a fashionista who enjoyed getting dressed up with all her jewelry, polishing her nails daily and having her hair done.  She loved listening to music, dancing, and a cold Diet Pepsi.  She enjoyed doing craft projects and reading to preschoolers when she was able.  Sally also treasured the times her sister, Susan and her family, would come to visit.  Fun times were spent eating out and swimming at the casino.  She will be missed but not forgotten by those who knew and loved her.

Sally is survived by a sister, Anne Marie Kupferschmidt; a brother, David Kupferschmidt; nieces, nephews, and extended family, including her family at the MSOCS Home in Mahnomen.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Susan Holmen; and a brother, Richard.

A Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Anderson Funeral Home in Mahnomen. Visitation will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home.

Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, and CDC guidelines, social distancing will be practiced. Masks are strongly encouraged.
