Rose Ann Kappes, 73, Ada, MN, passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice, with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Ada Integrity Group Home.

Rose Ann was born June 24, 1941, in rural Borup, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Emma (Sorensen) Kappes. She grew up in Fergus Falls, MN, where she attended school. Rose Ann lived in a number of communities in Minnesota, before returning home to Ada in 2002. She settled in at the Integrity Group Home, where she enjoyed interacting with the staff as well as fellow residents. She was happy when she could play cards, board games, listen to country music and go fishing. She liked doing handiwork such as embroidery on tablecloths and pillow cases. Rose Ann was always excited to participate in activities at the Norman County DAC.

Rose Ann is survived by two brothers, Paul Kappes, in Texas, Joey (Vicki) Kappes, Ada, MN, one sister, Lucille (Phillip) Ellingworth, Gary, MN, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Mass: 10:00AM Monday, April 13, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada.

Visitation: 1 hour before the service at the church.

Interment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
