Rosanne Kuehn, age 76, of Twin Valley, MN, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Sanford Health in Fargo, surrounded by her family.

Rosanne Marie Prellwitz was born on June 1, 1948, in Mahnomen, MN, to Lawrence and Shirley (Klatt) Prellwitz. She graduated from Waubun High School with the class of 1966. After graduation, Rosanne moved to the Twin Cities, where she worked for Honeywell and spent time caring for children at a daycare.

After a few years, Rosanne returned to northern Minnesota, where she met and married Merrill Kuehn on May 28, 1977. The couple made their home on a farm east of Twin Valley, a place Rosanne has called home ever since. In the early 1990s, Rosanne took a custodial job at Norman County East High School, where her hard work and dedication were deeply valued. After Merrill's passing in 2006, she retired the following year.
In her retirement, Rosanne found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her flower beds, where tulips, irises, and other beautiful blooms thrived under her care. At home, she enjoyed cozying up with a good book or binge-watching classic movies-whether it was a John Wayne western or a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure. In her younger years, she also enjoyed deer hunting.
Above all, Rosanne treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her feisty spirit, sharp wit, and strong work ethic were hallmarks of her personality, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Rosanne is survived by her children: Shawn (Trina) Olson, Mary (Carl) Kuehn, Shane Olson, Merrill Jr. (Karen) Kuehn, Debbie (Angel) Roche, Ronnie Kuehn, Rachel (Greg) Cukla, Jeff (Misti) Kuehn, and Linda (Eric) Kuehn; 17 grandchildren: Saydi, Emily, Claire, Bryan, Jacob, Haven, Samantha, Wyatt, Brittney, Hunter, Jeffrey, Kristofer, Brody, Meya, JoAnne, Riessa, and Greyson; 7 great-grandchildren: Owen, Levi, Jenna, Ava, Charlie, Colsen, and Ilya; siblings: Betty (Ron) Safar, Sharon (Al) Gallagher, Linda St. Pierre, Larry Prellwitz, and Barbara (Duane) Safar; and many nieces and nephews. Rosanne was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Shirley; husband, Merrill; granddaughter, Grace Olson; grandson, Jim Schatz; brother, Terry Prellwitz; and sister, Precilla Tomkins; and many other loved family members.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with a visitation one hour before, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley. Inurnment will take place at St. William Catholic Cemetery in Twin Valley.
