Rosalie Kay Jenson, age 83, of Twin Valley, MN, died February 8, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family and friends while under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Rosalie "Rosie" was born in Ada, MN, on April 5, 1939, to her parents, Paul and Annie (Schumaker) Pinske. She was baptized in Ada at First Lutheran Church on June 24, 1939. Rosie grew up and attended school in Ada. On April 23, 1955, Rosie was united in marriage to Leland Jenson, the love of her life, in Moorhead, MN. The couple lived in Moorhead for the first few years of their married life and then moved their young family back to the Twin Valley area in 1963.

Rosie was a stay-at-home mother for many years, staying busy with raising four children and keeping the farm running while her husband, Leland, worked construction. In 1974, they sold their farm and purchased The Valley Hotel in Twin Valley. In 1981, they sold their business and returned once again to the same farm they had sold years earlier. Rosie also worked several jobs through the years, including at the Twin Valley Nursing Home, the Twin Valley Teen Center, and the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, MN. Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, raising her dogs and other farm animals, crocheting, and remodeling and fixing the family home.

Rosie is survived by her children: Daniel (Ann) Jenson of Thompson, ND, Duane Jenson of Twin Valley, Jeffrey Jenson of Twin Valley and Elaine Sundquist Jenson of Gonvick, MN, and Julie (Peter) Rainville of Fertile, MN; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Annie Pinske; husband, Leland; sisters: Alice Rustad, Gearldine Corn, and Delores Olson; brother, Robert Pinske; and daughter-in-law, Jill Jenson.

Rosie is dancing in the wind once again with her true love, Leland.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Wild Rice Church, Twin Valley, Minnesota. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 16 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, prayer service at 7:00pm, at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley.
