Roger L. Erickson, 61, Ada, Minnesota, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, in his home.

Roger was born on October 15, 1954, in Ada, the son of LeRoy and Joanne (Fisher) Erickson. He attended the Faith United Church where he was confirmed. Roger graduated from Ada High School with the class of 1973 and attended the University of Minnesota at Crookston. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for a number of years and also worked for the Ada-Borup School District until he retired due to health reasons.

Roger enjoyed following many of his son, Michael's activities, especially baseball games, and he was extremely proud of him. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and co-workers.

Roger is survived by his son, Michael Erickson, Ada, MN, two sisters, Fay (Dan) Vedbraaten, Thief River Falls, MN, Kay (John) Saude, Ada, MN, and one brother, Rodney (Tammy) Erickson, Ada, MN, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral: 1:00PM, Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral at the funeral home.

Interment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
