Rhonda Gunderson, age 39, of Ada, MN, died on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Rhonda Pinske, the daughter of Leland and Sharon (Kuehn) Pinske, was born on December 26, 1980 in Fargo, ND. She grew up with her family near Gary, MN, and attended school in Twin Valley. She was baptized and confirmed in her faith at St. William Catholic Church in Twin Valley, MN. After graduating from Norman County East High School with the class of 1999, Rhonda began working at Bridges Care Community in Ada. She worked for many years at the nursing home as a Certified Nursing Aide and later with the Rehab Department. Rhonda was blessed with three children, Brandon, Dylon, and Hannah, who were the center of her world. As her children grew, Rhonda's health failed. She was officially diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis about 12 years ago and has bravely battled this disease every day since. Although she could no longer work, Rhonda always kept busy. She loved crafts, scrapbooking, fishing, and four-wheeling. She also enjoyed cooking and spent countless hours researching new recipes to try with her family. Her love of the kitchen also carried over into canning the produce from her gardens. Rhonda was most comfortable at home, but also enjoyed going for drives to see the countryside. Above all, Rhonda cherished the time she spent with her kids.

Rhonda is survived by her children: Brandon and Dylon Gunderson and Hannah Purrington, all of Ada; her parents: Leland and Sharon Pinske of Gary; one sister, Laurie Pinske (Joe Geray) of Mahnomen, MN; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ben and Gladys Pinske and Albert and Margaret Kuehn; her sister, Christina Pinske; two uncles, Merrill and Ronald Kuehn; and one aunt, Carolyn Pinske.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at St. William Catholic Cemetery, Twin Valley, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

All are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a chair. Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to attend.
