Rebecca "Becky" Dahl, age 68, of Bejou, MN, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at her home under the care of Essentia Hospice.

Rebecca Ann Roragen Dahl, beloved daughter of Milton and Marilyn (Bakken) Roragen, was born on January 6, 1956, in Fosston, MN. She spent her early years in Fertile, MN, and Grafton, ND, before returning to Fosston, where she graduated with the class of 1974.

On July 13, 1974, Becky married Jerry Dahl, and together they built a loving family. In 1982, they purchased their home in Bejou, where they joyfully raised three daughters and two sons. An active and devoted mother, Becky balanced part-time work while nurturing her family. As her children grew older, she transitioned to full-time work, spending several years at the Shooting Star Casino and Pump 24 gas station before dedicating over 20 years as the bookkeeper for Cenex.

Becky's warmth extended beyond her immediate family, as she cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, often being the heart of family gatherings. Her home was a welcoming space where siblings and cousins would come together. A lover of games, she enjoyed playing cards, participating in a traveling whist league with Jerry, and hours full of pinochle and Bingo.

Known for her baking, Becky delighted friends and family with her famous donuts and spent countless hours making lefse alongside Jerry, a cherished treat for many. In quieter moments, she found joy in crocheting or sharing conversations with close friends.

Becky's legacy of love, laughter, and community will be remembered by all who knew her.

Becky is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry; her children: Melissa (Josh) Bendickson, Eric (Jen Stene) Dahl, Sarah (David) Flakne, Ashley (Jeremy) Ranz, and Aaron Dahl; 13 grandchildren: Zachary, Alex, Wyatt, Logan, Hunter, Carter, Isabelle, Branson, Stephen, Cooper, Allyson, Garrett, Hannah, Destiny and Eian; two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Harper; two brothers, Michael Roragen and Gregg Roragen; brothers and sisters in law: Ervin (Linda) Dahl, Ronald (Sheryl) Dahl, Don Dahl, Linda (Terry) Brevik, Sandra (Roger) Kujava and Geraldine Dahl; one uncle, Frank Bakken; one aunt, Inez Bakken; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Marilyn; in-laws, Obert and Ovida Dahl; sisters, Jenny (Mark) Munter and Tammy Roragen; sisters-in-law, Debbie Roragen and Lorraine (Art) Sweep; brothers-in-law: James Dahl, Orlan (Carrie) Dahl, and Roger Dahl; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bejou, MN.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the church. The family would prefer memorials be given, in Beckys memory, to Essentia Hospice.
