Ralph Ostenvik, 76, Felton, Minnesota died Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley, Minnesota.
Ralph was born September 29, 1936 at Flom, Minnesota the son of Wilhelm and Elsie (Narum) Ostenvik. He lived on the family farm near Flom until 1942 when they moved to the Waubun, Minnesota area. In 1946, they moved to a farm east of Mahnomen, Minnesota. For most of his adult life Ralph lived with his brother, Robert. In 1974, he moved to Glyndon, Minnesota and resided with Robert and Pearl. In 1992, they moved to Felton, Minnesota where he has made his home until the past few months when he became a resident of the Twin Valley Living Center.
Ralph was an avid reader of the Fargo Forum and loved watching Western shows on television. He also enjoyed working jig saw puzzles and the time he spent at the Felton Senior Citizens Center. On Labor Day each fall, Ralph could be found doing one of his favorite things, going to the Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, Minnesota.
Ralph is survived by his sister-in-law, Pearl Ostenvik of Felton, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were Monday at 11:00am in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, Minnesota. Visitation was one hour before services at the church. Interment was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Twin Valley.
