Obituary

Phil Boyum died at Memorial Hospital of Burlington, in Burlington, Wisconsin on May 8, 2007.

Phillip C. Boyum was born December 11,1924 in Napoleon, North Dakota to Henry & Selma (Carlson) Boyum. As a young man, Phil faithfully served his country during WWII as a military police officer. He was united in married Dolores Wrobleski in 1950 and to this union they were blessed with two children. Through out his life, Phil repaired machines for Ladish Co and also ran his own cab. Phil loved to travel, hunt, camp, and fish. He will be lovingly remembered for always living life positively & to it?s fullest.

He is survived by his wife; Delores; a daughter, Christine (Danny) Ready; a son, Kenny (Marie); two brothers, Clem (Jean), and Kenny (Rose); two grandsons, Shawn (Denise) and Kyle; a granddaughter, Tracy (Todd); and his great-grandchildren, Andy, Marty, Taylor, & Blake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lillian, & brothers, Adrian, Melvin, Albert, Fred, & Roy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 23, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran church in Bejou, with Pastor Nathan Baker-Trinity officiating. A time of gathering will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be held at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Mahnomen, with the Isaacson-Bjorge Post # 31 of the American Legion providing military honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the National Kidney
