Patricia "Patty" Dahlquist Zahrowski Hilde, 78, Twin Valley, MN, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, unexpectantly of natural causes at her home.

Patty was born April 6, 1940 in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Edwin and Ina (Johnson) Dahlquist.  She was a very strong-willed, independent woman who loved her Grandfather's ranch located 7 miles north of Nemo off Vanocker Canyon which he homesteaded in 1910. Patty always stated that she was a Hillbilly from Black Hills. She loved her family and her friends.  She will be missed by them all.

Patty started her working career in Newell, S.D. as a waitress where she met and married Frank Zahrowski. They have  4 surviving daughters: Darla (Gene) Cross, Glendale, AZ, Fawn (Dale) Anderson, Ada, MN, Samanthe (Eric) Grienstiner, Sturgis, SD, Frances (Jeff Giffith), Phoenix, AZ, and 1 son: R. Zahrowski, of MN, 15 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

Patty worked most of her live in the restaurant business as a waitress, cook, even owned the Coffee Cup Cafe in Whitewood, SD. Later in her life she married Harry Hilde. They did a lot of traveling together before he passed on. Patty is also survived by 1 brother, Gary (Amy) Apsher, Gillette, WY. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, and 2 sisters.

No memorial is planned as her last wishes.
