Patricia Yost, age 83, of Mahnomen, MN, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Pioneer Memorial Care Center, Erskine, MN.

Patricia "Pat" was born on November 6, 1937, to James and Edna Standall in Nelsonville, OH. She grew up and attended school in Ohio. Pat met the love of her life, Robert Yost, in Columbus, OH, as he was serving in the United States Navy. The couple was married on July 17, 1965, and continued living in Ohio until 1979, when they moved to Mahnomen. Together they raised three children: Wayne, Steve and Daniel, who she lovingly raised as a stay at home wife and mother. Pat later worked as a waitress at the local Red Apple Café for over 21 years. Pat was a caring, compassionate, independent woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In her spare time, Pat enjoyed reading, watching T.V., word searches, and traveling, especially to Florida in the winter months with Bob.

Pat will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother to her husband, Bob; children, Wayne (Jackie) Hillyer, and Daniel (Lori Korte) Yost; and as a loving grandmother and great-grandmother; she is also survived by her sister, Shirley Staley; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna; son, Steve Hillyer; sister, Donna; brothers, Dallas and Richard; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Mahnomen.

Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, and CDC guidelines, social distancing will be practiced. Masks are strongly encouraged.
