Patricia Wang, age 83, of Ulen, MN died peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Sanford Health Center Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND. Patricia Darlene Wang was born on January 5, 1934 to Clarence and Edith (Beckwith) Bullock in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Moorhead, MN where she attended school and graduated high school. As a young woman, she worked at the Blue Bird Café. After falling in love with Orlynn Wang, the couple was married on November 6, 1956 in Detroit Lakes, MN. They lived in Moorhead, where Patricia worked in the meat department of the Red Owl Store. Patricia and Orlynn were blessed with two children, Gregory and Lorie. After the birth of Lorie, Patricia stayed home to care for their children. In 1975, they cleared land southwest of Ulen to build their home. This land was very special to them as it had been homesteaded by Orlynn's grandfather in 1878. After the move, Patricia provided care to Martha Sorenson for many years, and helped out with Lorie's daycare up until last year. Patricia had a desire to care for and help others. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and quilting. The quilts she made were her way of wrapping everyone up with her love. Patricia could usually be found behind the lens of her camera capturing moments with her family. She was a VFW Auxiliary member, as well as an active member of Dorcus Circle and Bethlehem Quilters. Patricia is survived by her husband of 60 years, Orlynn; son, Gregory, Ulen; daughter, Lorie (Tim) Doran, Ulen; four grandchildren: Cody Wang, Charley Wang, Crystal Dickey, and Nicole Borgen; and 11 great-grandchildren: Ella Wang, Lenora Dickey, Alexa Borgen, Connor Wang, Lincoln Dickey, Ryder Boit, Charley Wang Jr, Cain Bueng, Edwin Wang, Zoe Dickey, and Gabby Wang. She is preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Greg, five brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ulen. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ulen on Friday, July 14, 2017.
