Patricia Trebesch, age 72 years and 11 months, of Ada, MN, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Benedictine Care Community Nursing Home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Patricia Ann Trebesch, the daughter of Walter and Bernice (Cardinal Vealitzek) Trebesch, was born July 28, 1945. Patricia became a resident of REM Group Home in Ada, MN, on August 1, 1983, happily living there for 35 years. She was a happy, healthy baby until illness changed her life story. Patricia was a social butterfly and loved to be out and about. She would say some of the funniest things and had her own sense of humor. Patricia enjoyed making people laugh and was loved by many. She also loved to shop and never turned down the opportunity. Over the years, Patricia worked many jobs in Ada, including Bob's Café, the Bowling Alley, Norman Motel, Cenex, the Salvation Army, and many other places. She also made crafts and entered them at the Norman County Fair, in Ada, winning many ribbons.

Patricia is survived by four sisters: Rosemary (Steve) Blaede of Carlton, MN, Bonnie Eells of Fridley, MN, Linette (Jeff) Clifton of Oklee, MN, and Joyce (Christopher) Hynd of Mahnomen; three brothers: Thomas Vealitzek of Mahnomen, Kenneth (Donna) Trebesch of Duluth, MN, and Alan (Courtney) Trebesch of Blaine, MN; four nieces; 10 nephews; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; and her family at REM Group Homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bernice; one sister, Maryann Vealitzek; one infant brother; one brother-in-law, Melvin Eells; her grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ada, MN.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Mahnomen, MN.
