Patricia Olson, age 77, of Mahnomen, MN, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Sanford Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, ND.

Patricia Lee Bellanger was born March 17, 1940, in White Earth, MN, the daughter of Aloysius and Isabell (Shaugobay) Bellanger. Growing up, she attended Wahpeton Indian School and later Mahnomen High School. Following her schooling, Pat was united in marriage to Earl Olson Sr. The couple was blessed with six children. They made their home in the Minneapolis, MN, area for several years. Earl died in 1974 and Pat remained in the cities. Pat married Robert Fielder but the couple later divorced. She has always called Northern Minnesota home, residing in Mahnomen over the last 25 years.

Patricia was a caring woman with a big heart, always helping others and taking in family. She touched the hearts of many with her continued warmth and generous nature. Patricia loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo, bowling, cross stitch, embroidery and jigsaw puzzles. She always stopped for garage sales, loved road trips and never turned down a game of 31.

Patricia is survived by her children: Earl Olson Jr. (Beverly Randberg) of Solway, MN, Robert Pawlitschek of Lengby, MN, Curt Pawlitschek of McIntosh, MN, Kelly Bellanger of MN, Sheri (Daniel) Bjerk of Mahnomen, MN, Melissa Olson of Halstad, MN, Melinda Olson of Detroit Lakes, MN, and Gale Olson (Jerry Tuccitto) also of Detroit Lakes, MN; step-daughter, Susie (Mike) Oshie of Everett, WA; step-son, Raymond Olson of Alexandria, MN; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Vernon Bellanger of Minneapolis, MN; five sisters: Ruby Buehner of Naytahwaush, MN, Ruth "Cheech" Danielowski of St. Louis Park, MN, Florence Howell of Coon Rapids, MN, Kathy (Michael) O'Connell of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Lorna (Paul) Reinhart of Perley, MN; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Sr.; ex-husband, Robert; daughter, Linda; grandson, Hildinge; one sister, Barbara; and four brothers: Robert, Francis, Servallus and Joseph.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, September 29, 2017, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Naytahwaush, MN. Visitation will take place 1 hours prior at the church.
