Myrna K. Crampton, 84, Fertile, MN, formerly of Minot, ND died Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Fair Meadow Nursing Home, Fertile, MN.

Myrna was born on July 22, 1940, in Bowdon, ND, the daughter of Florence and Reuben Martin. She attended grade school and high school there, and later earned her GED in Grand Island, NE. She was united in marriage to Thomas Horgeshimer in Minot, ND in 1957. They lived in the Minot area before moving to Nebraska in 1961. In 1991, she moved to be near her mother in Minot. In 1993, she was united in marriage with Bob Crampton, who passed in 1999. In 2008, she moved to Fertile, MN, and in 2016, entered Fair Meadow Nursing Home, where she had lived until her passing.

Myrna worked as a cashier, restaurant hostess, and hotel front desk clerk until she retired in 1993.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Hill and Janet Rodriguez of Fertile, MN, and Betty Soto of Saudi Arabia; one son, Darrel Horgeshimer (Dawn) of Fenton, IA; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Rick Horgeshimer and Jeff Horgeshimer; first husband, Thomas Horgeshimer; second husband, Robert Crampton; siblings, Claudette McDaniel and Gary Martin; and both parents, Florence and Reuben Martin.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Rosehill Memorial Cemetery, Minot, ND, at a later date.
