Morris G. Larson, age 85, of Fertile, MN died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Sanford Health System, Fargo.

Morris Gordon Larson was born September 9, 1927, to Henry and Mathilda (Duckstad) Larson on a farm northeast of Gary, Minnesota. Morris attended rural school near Gary for eight years and high school in Gary, graduating with the class of 1946. Morris was united in marriage to Lorraine Gullickson at the Faaberg Lutheran parsonage in Rindal on October 9, 1954. Morris farmed his entire life and never retired, always finding work to do on the farm such as repairing machinery.

Jesus was his love and his entire life revolved around spiritual matters. He was a prayer warrior and many nights God called him to intercede for others who were in need of a touch from God. Morris had a wonderful relationship with family, friends and neighbors.

Morris is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorraine of Fertile, MN; two daughters, Debbie Larson and Barb Larson, both of Fargo, ND; a son, Kevin (Wendy) Larson of Fertile, MN and a granddaughter, Katherine Rose. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Lawrence and twin grandchildren, Anna Lorraine and Joshua Kevin.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Gosen Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh, MN. Visitation was one hour before services at the church on Saturday. Officiating was Pastor Gary Johnson with Carol Stordahl serving as organist and special music provided by Pastor Gary and Lois Johnson. Pallbearers were Lonnie Geiseke, John Cournia, Gene Hanson, Rob Bell, Mike Nelson and Wayne Christianson. Honorary pallbearers were Vernon Nelson and Lonnie Peck.

Burial was in the Sundal Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fertile.
