Monica
Rindahl

Mahnomen
Monica Rindahl, age 46, of Mahnomen, MN, died Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.
Monica Irene, lovingly known as "Monnie," was born on September 7, 1974, to James Frye and Anita Javes. She was raised in the North Minneapolis community. Monica attended school there and, as a teenager, met the love of her life, Jeremy "Jay" Rindahl. The two were inseparable and began their 30-year love story. Jay and Monica were united in marriage on October 7, 1994 in Anoka, MN and were blessed with two children. As Jay provided, Monnie was able to stay home and raise their children while pursuing her many hobbies. After several years living in the Twin Cities, the family moved to Northern MN to be closer to Jays family. They fell in love with the area and decided to remain in Mahnomen. Monica held family close and was happiest at home. She had a generous spirit and never hesitated to help those around her. She truly had a passion for all animals. Monica welcomed many pets into her home but had a special place in her heart for her dogs, cats, and ferrets. A sudden illness took her away to soon but her tender smile will forever be remembered.
Monica is survived by her husband, Jay of Mahnomen; her daughter LaResha LaRynn (Ryan Frye) Sumner, of Ogema; her son, Damon (Nicole Pederson) Rindahl, Melanie, Kailyn, Davina of Mahnomen; her mother, Anita Javes; step-father, Alan Nixa; two brothers, Michael Haugen and Anthony Frye; and three sisters: Christine Sorel, Cindy Buck Moody, and Kathy Lake; as well as all of Jay's family and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
