Milo Berg, 70, Ada, Minnesota, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. Milo was born on March 26, 1943, to Manley and Inanda (Otterness) Berg near Hendrum, MN. He attended the Ada School District, Ada, MN, and following his schooling Milo began working in farm labor for area farmers.

On January 4, 1964, Milo was united in marriage to Vicki Turnquist at Sisseton, SD. He continued to farm in the Ada area with Don Ogaard, Carl Jenson, and for a longtime with the Strand family, beginning with Silas and Tilford and ending with Kirk Strand. He retired from full time farming in 1999, when he began working at the Warroad Airport providing maintenance and various services. He continued to assist the Strand Farms with planting and harvesting. Milo was a hardworking and kind gentleman. He was trusted by all for his wisdom and judgments, especially regarding farming. Model trains became a passion and his tracks and collections took up two rooms in his home. Horses when he was younger and cats as he grew older were Milo's "furry" companions. Milo treasured his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Milo is survived by his wife, Vicki, Ada, MN; children: Lori (James) McGovern, Moorhead, MN; David (Stephanie) Berg, Fargo, ND; Jeanne Rausch (John Landin), Warroad, MN; Danny (Christina) Berg, West Fargo, ND; fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one sister: Beverly (Rod) Braden, Forest Lake, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Anthony David Berg, brother and sister-in-law: Manley and Sandra Berg Jr. and a sister: Shirley Berg.

Funeral: 2:00 pm on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: 4:00-6:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 5:30 pm on Sunday, March 9th at the church.

Burial: Ada City Cemetery
