Mildred Dorleen Reed, 92, formerly of Grandin and Gardner, ND, died July 22, 2010 at Bridges Care Community, Ada, MN.
Mildred Dodson was born September 30, 1917 to William and Jennie (Peterson) Dodson in Omaha, NE. She attended North High School in Omaha, NE. Mildred married Earl Taylor in Nebraska in 1935, and they had three sons: Jesse, Lewis and Jerry. Mildred's daughter Marijo was born in 1945. Mildred married Thomas Seidl in 1946, and they had three daughters: Rozanne, Jan, and Jeri. Through out the years she lived in Iowa, Nebraska and California. In 1963, Mildred married Dean Reed in California.
Mildred was employed over the years in various occupations. She enjoyed driving taxi the best and was in building maintenance for the longest time. Arts and crafts kept her hands busy, at least when she wasn't sewing. Mildred was ready to travel almost anywhere and at any time. She would pop in at a child's home in Nebraska and be back in North Dakota a few days later, only to be off somewhere else a little while later.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; sister Lois Krenzer; husbands Earl Taylor, Thomas Seidl and Redemis Reed; sons Jesse and Lewis Taylor; and daughter Jan (Seidl) Miller.
She is survived by her son Jerry (Rita) Taylor, Omaha, NE and daughters: Marijo (Eugene) Vik, Ada, MN; Rozanne (Steve) Mickey, Fort Calhoun, NE; and Jeri (Ron) Gault, Chandler, AZ; as well as numerous grand-children and great-grand-children.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 2 pm in the Bridges Care Community Chapel, Ada, MN.
