Blue Sky, a precious little girl of only 19 weeks gestation, was born at 1:22 p.m. surrounded by her family. After a gift of 1 hour and 17 minutes she took her last tiny breath. She weighed 10.3 ounces and was 9 ¾ inches long. Although only here for a moment, she will forever be in our hearts.

Blue Sky is survived by her mother, Lynette Hanks of Mahnomen, MN; two brothers, Ayaazhawigiizhik James "A.J." Hill and Jesse James Hanks; two sisters, Dakota Biidaabin Losh and Barbara Ann Hanks; two uncles, David (Donna Roy) Hill and Duane (Bear Woman) Hill; six aunts: Robin (Michael) Morley, Melissa (Ken) Bergren, Jackie (Sabino Hernandez) Black, Lori Hill, Misty Littlewolf, and Robin Littlewolf; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Barbara Hill, Robert Littlewolf Jr., and great uncle, George Hill, Jr.; her uncle, Robert Littlewolf III; Lynette's husband, Thomas Hanks Sr.; her great grandparents: Emily Kahoombaush, great aunt, Emma Hatfield, and Robert Littlewolf Sr.; cousins: Winston Stevens Jr., Little Feather Jerome, Tamera Stevens, Gloria Stevens, Tyler Hilliard, and Matthew Hilliard; and several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Traditional Services began on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. All Services will be held at the Rice Lake Community Center, Rice Lake, MN.

Burial will be at Rice Lake Cemetery in Rice Lake.
