Michele Jo Goodman-Walker, age 37 of St. Cloud, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Michele Goodman was born December 12, 1975 in Minneapolis, MN, to Joan Goodman and Carmen Johnson. Growing up, she lived and attended school in Minneapolis. Michele later moved to the Detroit Lakes, MN, area and was united in marriage to Otha Walker. They made their first home together in Minneapolis and later moved back to Northern Minnesota, living in various communities including Mahnomen, Naytahwaush, Frazee, and Detroit Lakes, MN, before moving to Fargo, ND. Michele then returned to the Mahnomen area and worked at the Shooting Star Casino for a time, followed by a move to Duluth, MN. In 2011, Michele moved to St. Cloud to make her home. While living in St. Cloud, she worked as a seamstress.

In her spare time, Michele enjoyed drawing, hanging out with friends and visiting with family.

Michele is survived by her children: Tayon Walker of St. Cloud, Tyreak Walker, Tabias Walker, Tanisha Walker all of Twin Valley, MN, Trishelle Walker of Mahnomen, Sequioa Goodman and Elliot Goodman also of Twin Valley and Derrick Demps of St. Cloud; one grandchild; brothers, Aaron (Liz) Goodman of Twin Valley and Shyenne (Heather) Basswood of Mahnomen; one sister, Vanessa Goodman of Walker, MN; Uncle Mike (Shannon) Goodman of Mahnomen and Uncle Joseph (Barb) Goodman of Hinkley, MN; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:30 am at the White Earth Community Center, White Earth. Visitation will be held at the White Earth Community Center beginning Monday, December 31, 2012 at 4 pm and continue until the time of the funeral on Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in White Earth.
