Michael "Budd" David Annette Jr. – 'Inni Sug' (Little Big Man) of Pine Point, MN, started his journey home at 38 years young.

Budd was born on a beautiful sunny day, June 22, 1986, to Monica (Gillespie) and Michael D. Annette Sr. in Bemidji, MN. He graduated from HHH Job Corps in 2004 and continued his education at MCTC in American Indian Studies. He loved the Minneapolis area, which is where he met the love of his life, Elton "Jeno" John Blackfeather. Budd and Jeno shared a loving home and worked together catering many events in the Twin Cities area.

Budd loved attending community events, Pow Wows, concerts, and sharing new experiences with those around him. Some of Budd's many interests and talents included grass dancing, beading, listening to music, interacting on social media, baking, laughing with friends and family, and cooking the best frybread and popcorn. Budd had a unique energy that made everyone around him feel welcomed and loved. With a great sense of humor, his infectious laughter was a constant source of joy, always brightening our days. His positivity was contagious, and he consistently put others first, creating an atmosphere of warmth and kindness wherever he went. Budd was truly one of a kind with a big heart and will be forever missed.

Budd was greeted with open arms by his life partner Jeno; his fur babies Flo, Kitty, and Muppy; grandparents: Mary and Robert Gillespie, and Harold Annette Sr.; uncle Timothy Annette; aunts: Susan Annette Wright, Sara Annette, Kathy Smith, Linda and Jean Gillespie, Joe Montownie, and Mari "Joker" French (Carl); niece Amiyah; and other beloved family members.

Left to honor Budd's memory are his parents Monica and Michael Annette Sr.; grandmothers: Joyce Roy, and Joanne Annette; aunts: Teresa Nelson, Carmen Buckanaga, Coke (Rick) Smith, Emily Annette, and Laurie (Tom) Gamache; uncles: Harold "Whitey", Anthony "Humpsy", John Boy (Robin), and Will Annette; Charlie, Bob (Ada), Mick, and Thomas (Patricia) Gillespie; brothers: Gabriel Montownie, Jayson (Sharon) and Jeffery (Melissa) Annette; sisters: Jodi and Jamie (Jage) Chesley, Jennifer French (Donny), Sonja (John), Sylvia (Matthew "Korpi"), and Shannon (Rob) Budde; nieces and nephews: Santiago, Jaiden, Caleb, Jeremiah, Jaci, Jayson, Scarlett, Lutessa, Jasmine, Deucalion "Duke", Lilith, Phoebe, Rogan, and Sierra; cousin Tawni Annette; and many other friends and family.

A family led memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the Old Pine Point School to celebrate Budd's life. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his family and friends find strength and comfort in their memories of him.
