Mathew James Warmsbecker, 62, of McIntosh, MN, died Monday, August 19, 2024, in Fair Meadow Nursing Home, Fertile MN.

Mr. Warmsbecker was born on May 29, 1962, in Williston, ND to parents James and Delores (Andersen) Warmsbecker. He grew up in Powers Lake, ND, and Thief River Falls and Crookston, MN. He lived in McIntosh and worked at Consolidated Equipment Group (CEG) in Fosston as a line equipment\assembler. Before working in McIntosh, Matt worked for Artic Cat in Thief River Falls as an assembler for Snowcats, ATV's and side by sides for 7+ years, which was something he loved to do. He also worked as a salesperson and service technician for a vacuum cleaner shop in Bismarck, ND. He spent the last 10+ years helping and taking care of his mother besides working.

Matt was an avid gamer, and enjoyed playing games like World of Warcraft, Star Wars – The Old Republic, Firefall and Conan Exiles.

He is survived by his daughters, Felicia and Sylvia; mother, Delores; four brothers, Adam (Elena), Ashburn, VA, Michael, Fosston, MN, Anthony (Jennifer), Byron, MN, and Paul (Renna), Fertile, MN; three sisters, Debra (Jeryl), Mahnomen, MN, Jennifer (Jim), Leesburg, VA, and Melissa, Clearwater, FL; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2024, Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN, with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Powers Lake, N.D.
