Martin Fairbanks, age 52, of Minneapolis, MN, died Monday, May 6, 2019 in his residence.

Martin A. Fairbanks was born November 23, 1966, the son of Joseph and Delores (Ashing) Fairbanks.  He grew up in Minneapolis, MN, with his parents and brothers.  Martin lived most of his life in Northern Minnesota. He loved the great outdoors, being in the woods, hunting and fishing, and being in touch with nature. Martin was also an avid sports fan and loved watching the Minnesota Vikings.  He will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Martin is survived by five brothers: Ronald, Todd, Joseph Jr, Michael, and Kyle; as well as many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Delores; brother, David; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Naytahwaush Sports Complex, Naytahwaush. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Pine Bend Cemetery in Lengby, MN.
