Marsha Zahl, age 61, of Erskine, MN died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine.
Marsha Ann Zahl was born on April 22, 1951 in Crookston, MN to parents, Marvin and Arlene Zahl. She was a very special gift that God trusted them to take care of for Him. She was such a happy, loving child and remained that all of her life. Although Marsha couldn't talk, you could feel her love by her expressions and excitement. She loved music, small children, animals, and of course all those who cared for her needs. Since 1976, Marsha has attended the East Polk County DAC in Fosston and that was such a big part of her life. The care and attention she received was overwhelming. God bless those people who dedicate their lives to helping our loved ones that have special needs. Her home has been at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center. Her family cannot praise the workers there enough for all they have done for her. Marsha truly was happy there.
Marsha is survived by and will be missed by her two sisters, Patty (John) Morrison of Erskine and Renae (Regan) Rohl of Fargo, ND; her brother, Kevin Zahl of Winger; nine nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
