Mark LeRoy Julin, 62, Gary, MN, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at his home in Gary.

Mark was born on May 27, 1961 to Maurice Gene and LaDonna JoAnne (Sargent) Julin in Ada, MN. He also grew up and attended school there.

Mark held various jobs throughout his life. He worked for many years as a cook at Bob's Café in Ada and was proprietor of the Gary Café for several years. He counted many friends among the clientele at both locations. At the time of his death Mark was employed as a truck driver at Dunham Gravel in Felton, MN, where he also worked for a number of years.

Mark enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed riding motorcycle, driving snowmobile, listening to music, touring the backroads, traveling, and tinkering on things. Above all, Mark loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his children, Kayla, Fargo, ND, and Skylar; grandchildren, Jack, Aria, and Donovan; stepdaughter, Tracie, and her children, Harper, Harley, and Hadley; brothers, Terry (Darla), Moorhead, MN, Scott (Cindy), Ada, MN, and Jon (Sandy), Nevis, MN; sisters, Debbie Gonzales, New Braunfels, TX, and Becky (Ignacio) Flores, Maxwell, TX; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and LaDonna.

Mark's family will be holding a Celebration of Life gathering at the Ada Event Center on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with a service to begin at 3:00 PM.
