Marjorie Eleanor Geiselhart, 87, Halstad, Minnesota, died January 31, 2017, at the Halstad Living Center in Halstad.
Marjorie "Bibsy" was born July 23, 1929, in Halstad, Minnesota, to Lloyd and Esther (Nygaard) Waite. She was united in marriage to Marvin Geiselhart on February 20, 1948, in Hendrum, Minnesota. They built their home and raised their four children in Halstad, Minnesota.
In her younger years, Marjorie was renowned for her bicycle repair work and an avid seamstress. She was an active member of the Halstad Lutheran Church, Ladies' Aide and Women's Circle. Marjorie liked quilting, playing volleyball, golfing, and playing cards with her family and friends. In their early retirement years, Marvin and Bibsy enjoyed many bus tours and made many friends. Most of all, Marjorie enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Grandmothers create memories that our hearts hold forever."
Marjorie is survived by a son, Larry (LeeAnn) Geiselhart, Fargo; daughters, Beverly (Jeff) Voigt, East Grand Forks, Susan (Bill) Finkle, Wyoming, and Kathy (Stewart) Robley, Moorhead; twelve grandchildren, Heidi, Amy, Tim, Jared, Eric, Isaac, Sam, Ally, Travis, Dan, Lindsay, and Sara; and, fifteen great-grandchildren, Jackson, Isabell, Benett, Grace, William, Jonathan, Natalie, Mallory, Bowen, Atlas, Kenzie, Arielle, Marley, Harloe and AJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents; and siblings, Clyde (Skeezix), Ray, Carmen and Nancy.
Funeral: 11:00AM, Friday, February 10, 2017, at Halstad Lutheran Church, Halstad, MN.
Visitation: Thursday, February 9, 2017, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM with a 6:30PM prayer service at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Halstad, MN.
Burial: Halstad South Cemetery, Halstad, MN.
